Kevin R Sheather (Victoria) Pty Ltd delivered the first fully compliant fibre test results.
A project in Melbourne submitted by Jason Webb of Kevin R Sheather (Victoria) Pty Ltd has become the first installation in Australia to achieve full NATA verified compliance to Australian Standard AS/NZS ISO/IEC 14763.3. When contacted, Jason indicated that the success of the testing was due to Rob Richardson- the testing officer for the project.
Since the release of AS/NZS ISO/IEC 14763.3 on 15th May 2007, VTI Services has only issued conditionally compliant NATA Statements of Compliance for fibre test results until this Melbourne submission.
The changes to the testing standard requiring the use of reference grade connectors on test cords, modal conditioning, changes to optical attenuation limit calculations and new documentation requirements has taken longer than expected to successfully be implemented by the market.
VTI Services management and staff congratulate the team at Kevin R Sheather (Victoria) Pty Ltd and in particular Rob Richardson for their outstanding display of professional trademanship.
